Incorporated in 1991, In-Situ Oilfield Services Ltd patented the initial In-Situ machining system. Over the following 25 years continuous development has led to several other patents relating to the threading of tubular goods, improving the threading process for our customers.
In-Situ Threading Services Ltd design, develop and manufacture in-house, special purpose CNC Machine tools primarily for the Oil and Gas industry. We provide superior quality turn-key solutions through custom design, manufacture, installation and support of our CNC machines.
To build and support our own machine tools, In-Situ has a team of highly skilled electrical, mechanical, design and project engineers; many of whom have worked in the machine tool service sector for a number of years. As one of the few machine tool builders in Scotland, we are in a unique position to also offer to the general engineering market a complete machine tool repair service for all types of machine tool and associated systems.
